Not More of the Same
That'll change the climate. Look closely at the foot prints headed toward this hot dog burner. I think they might be Al's. I haven't heard from him today. But I hope NASA paid their carbon fuel credits before making this test and don't tell me oxygen doesn't have carbon in it! But do you know how we produce enough oxygen to release anything from the gravity of this earth? It takes Energy! Don't try looking for my sources on this. There aren't any. I make them up in my head and test them with my gut. I could eat for a few more days on what NASA spends for production of the fuel needed for these tests. And I'm not complaining about the cost or even the tests themselves. I'm envious of enterprises like NASA that contribute so much science and discovery of new and improved ways to stay alive. But, will the rest of you naysayers please give me a break and rely upon this one little piece of information we learned in 8th grade science. It's the law of thermodynamics and, like gravity, it works every time in this universe. Matter cannot be created or destroyed. So far in mankind's brief history we have managed to put a few small chunks of matter into space. Believe me when I tell you this. Most of the rest of it will not be that easy to get rid of. I just thought about Rosie O'Donnel as an example. But that's not my job. About the best we've come up with in my mind is making carpets that get stuck on accelerator pedals. But then again I could sum this up with one more notion I believe is fitting now and forever. What's the first thing we should do when we find ourselves in a hole? You can answer that one by yourself. I'm betting those aren't Al's or even Rosie's foot prints but at times like these I almost wish they were mine.
